The United Methodist Church, through its Committee on Relief (UMCOR), is responding to the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Haiti. Volunteers are already in place, including several mission groups who were in Haiti at the time of the earthquake. Your gifts to support UMCOR's Haiti Relief efforts are welcome. Checks can be made to UMCOR, with Advance #418325 Haiti Emergency in the memo line, and mailed to UMCOR, PO Box 9068, New York, NY 10087. You may also make a check out to Belmont United Methodist Church, with Haiti Emergency in the memo line, and send it to us to pass on to UMCOR. A special offering will also be taken during worship on January 17th. 100% of gifts made to this advance will go to help the people of Haiti.

Thanks to all of you who have already contributed to UMCOR, or who brought in items for health kits, or who attended our special concert on January 31st, where we raised over $500 for relief efforts by Star of Hope International.
