Summer Worship Schedule Starts July 5th

This summer we are once again sharing Sunday worship services with St. John's United Methodist Church in Watertown. On Sunday, July 5th both congregations will meet at St. John's, on Sunday, July12th both congregations will meet at Belmont, and then we'll continue alternating Sundays through July and August, ending at St. John's on Sunday August 30th. Mission Trip to New Orleans, May 21-26

Eighteen youth and adults have returned (safely and more or less in one piece!) from a five day mission trip to New Orleans. As in past years, we joined with the members of our three sister churches to continue the process of rebuilding after the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. On this trip one of the priorities was painting the interior of a church member's newly rebuilt house so that an electrician could complete his work and the house could be inspected, in time for the family to move in on June 1st. That's when the temporary FEMA trailer they've been living in was scheduled to be removed. The plan is to only mail out a few paper copies to those who do not have email or access to the web.
